Senior Director of Sales Strategy, Paychex

Dan is a twenty-year veteran of Paychex, a Rochester, N.Y.-based company providing human capital management solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses. He is the Senior Director of Sales Strategy, Planning, and Sales Operations at Paychex, where along with four Sales VPs and the Senior VP of Sales, oversees strategy for a sales organization of approximately 4,000 employees. Dan also leads Multi-Cultural sales for Paychex and was part of Paychex team working in Brazil.   Previously, he was the head of sales for the western half of the U.S. for Human Resource Services sales, specializing in retirement plans, employee benefits, and human resource outsourcing. He resides in Dallas, TX.

Prior to Paychex, Dan was a management consultant and worked in more than 12 Latin American countries and was the author of numerous articles and books on Latin American economies.   His clients included the U.S. Library of Congress, the U.S. Department of State, and the World Bank.   He has lived in Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Costa Rica.   Dan holds a BA in Spanish and Latin American studies from Temple University and a MA in International Economic Development from the American University in Washington, DC. He is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.
